In 2017, driven by her passion for discovering the unique and extraordinary, Laura embarked on a new journey by founding Laura Smith Castings (LSC). LSC wasn't meant to be just another casting agency; it was a movement towards embracing diversity and finding beauty in the unconventional. From the onset, Laura's mission was clear - to identify and nurture exceptional talent outside of traditional channels and agencies. This innovative approach quickly set LSC apart in the industry.
Many of LSC's discoveries are individuals who had never modeled before, who might not have ever considered a career in modeling if not for Laura's belief in their potential. These "diamonds in the rough," as Laura likes to call them, have gone on to achieve tremendous success, transforming from first-time models to sought-after faces in the fashion world. Under Laura's leadership, LSC has enjoyed significant success and expansion. Today, the agency boasts offices and dedicated teams with 35 professionals across three of the world's major fashion capitals: New York, London, and Los Angeles.
